The Tumbleweed Shops are located in a serene little community nestled in the heart of the largest desert park in North America - Anza Borrego Desert State Park.
A wide variety of unique and colorful merchandise is offered at Tumbleweed. We procure many items directly from craftsmen in the local Mexican and Guatemalan markets. Along with our variety of merchandise we also accept custom furniture orders and offer interior design consultation.

Glenda Garmon is a wanderer! That’s all there is to it! For more than twenty years, Glenda has been creating comfortable environments for desert living. One of the brightest lights in Borrego Springs interior design, Glenda is known particularly for her skillful realization of southwestern residential interiors.
As a native of southern California, it is the culture that has long colored her professional aesthetic of design. Throughout her career, Glenda attributes much of her inventiveness and creativity to her years of travel. Traveling to remote villages throughout Mexico and South America, she has formed lasting relationships with many artists and their families. An avid art collector, Glenda is passionate about sharing her love of art with others. Passion is the singular word that most defines her unique presence and her goal to bring beauty and a new depth of expression into every home and life she touches.
